I was born in Greensboro but spent most of my growing up years in Davie County.
WHAT BOOK THAT YOU READ WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER HAVE THE BIGGEST IMPACT ON YOUR LIFE?
In high school, I read “Girl, Interrupted” by Sussana Kaysen and “First Person, Plural” by Cameron West, which both peaked my interest in the mind and led to my study of psychology.

WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO EAT IN THE (EX. KANNAPOLIS, CHAPEL HILL) AREA?
French Express Coffee – Their gingerbread mocha latte helped get me through the cold months! And coffee is definitely food!
WHERE WAS THE BEST PLACE YOU HAVE TRAVELED SO FAR?
My favorite city to explore, and more importantly to eat in, is Miami. It doesn’t hurt that my brother lives 30 minutes away!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SOUVENIR THAT YOU BROUGHT BACK ON ONE OF YOUR TRIPS?
I brought back a stone I collected from the Pacific Ocean during my first trip to California. I found this hidden path and washed out stair case that led me down to beach so I could feel the ocean on my feet.
