I grew up in Winston-Salem, NC, and moved to Mooresville, NC when I was 12.
What book that you read when you were younger had the biggest impact on your life?
I loved reading series where I could keep the characters alive for years as I waited on the next installment, and Stephen King’s Dark Tower series lasted nearly a decade of my childhood and let me follow the main character for years.
If you were to choose a completely different career path, what would it be?
I would work in animal behavior, training or rehabilitating dogs.
Where is the best place to eat in the (ex. Kannapolis, Chapel Hill) area?
One of my favorite places to grab a beer and unwind after work in Kannapolis is Brew.
Where was the best place you have traveled so far?
My family took a Royal Caribbean cruise, and the Caribbean was a paradise.
Where haven’t you traveled that you would want to go?
I would love to travel through northern Europe.
What is your favorite food?
I like all the food, but my single favorite dish is probably my mom’s Fried Squash. Or her brown sugar cinnamon pound cake with caramel icing, if we’re including deserts. Really, I just like whatever mom cooks.
What book/movie/podcast are you currently hooked on?
My fiancée, Kim, had never seen Scrubs all the way through, so for the past month she and I have watched a lot of Zach Braff and Donald Faison causing mayhem around Sacred Heart.
Yes, I have a beagle mix, Daisy, and Kim has a cat, Animal.
